Good News again for Catoosa, Dade, and Walker Counties as we remain in the lowest metro area gas price market in the State of Georgia at an average of $2.83 a gallon. Overall, Georgians pay an average price of $2.96 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline, which is 3 cents more than a week ago and 4 cents more than a month ago-which is still one of the lowest averages in the country. For a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline in Georgia, the average price is about $44.40 to fill up.
According to AAA, the National Average for a gallon of regular gasoline increased by 6 cents to $3.12 since a week ago. Oil costs are hovering around $80 a barrel helping to push the national average upward. As far as electricity, the national average per kilowatt hour of electricity at a public EV charging station remained at 34 cents.
