Lady Ramblers’ Historic Season Ends in Columbus

The LaFayette Lady Rambler softball team saw its record-breaking season come to a close Friday in Columbus, falling to Monroe Area by a final score of 6–1.

The Ramblers record breaking season saw them reach the Elite 8 of the state tournament.   LaFayette wrapped up the season with an impressive 30–8 record — the most wins in program history.

Elsewhere in Class AAA, Heritage is still alive.  The Generals are still in the winners bracket of the tournament.  They face Cherokee Bluff today at 5pm.

In Class A Gordon Lee has advanced in the losers bracket. They play again tonight at 7pm.
