The LaFayette City Council is scheduled to meet Monday, February 9, at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall for its regular monthly meeting.
The meeting will begin with a call to order, followed by an invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance. Council members are expected to approve the minutes from the January 12 and January 16 council meetings.
During the visitors and guests portion of the agenda, members of the public will have an opportunity to address the council.
No items are listed under old business. Under new business, council members are expected to discuss several city matters, including upcoming community events, progress on greenway sidewalks, meter repairs, paving projects, and an agreement related to the farmers market.
The agenda also includes time for comments from council members, the city clerk, the city attorney and city manager, and Mayor.
Following the public portion of the meeting, the council may enter executive session to discuss matters related to real estate, litigation, or personnel, as allowed under state law. Any official action would be taken after returning to open session.
The meeting is open to the public.
