The LaFayette Mayor and City Council will hold their next regular meeting on Monday, November 3, 2025, at City Hall. The evening will begin with a public hearing on zoning matters at 6:15 p.m., followed by the regular council session at 6:30 p.m.
The agenda includes several new business items for consideration, such as a contract with Cypress, updates to the city’s conflict of interest and procurement policies, and an intergovernmental agreement with Walker County regarding Hillsdale Road.
Council members are also expected to discuss a survey for a new water line, sidewalk and lighting improvements for the city’s Greenway, and updates to the Airport Capital Improvement Plan. Other topics include flooring projects at the Main Recreation Center and the city’s golf course, along with a memorandum of understanding with the school system.
As part of the meeting, council members, the city clerk, city attorney, city manager, and mayor will have an opportunity to provide comments before the council moves into executive session to discuss real estate, litigation, and personnel matters.
The public is invited to attend.
