The LaFayette High School cross-country team took on a challenging course at Edwards Park in Dalton on Thursday, competing against a deep field of 30 teams in one of the most demanding meets of the season.
The boys’ team delivered a strong performance, earning a 12th-place finish overall. Leading the way for the Ramblers was Peyton Lands, followed closely by teammates Noah Brown and Levi Collins, all of whom navigated the tough terrain with determination.
In the girls’ race, Lilly Owen set the pace for the Lady Ramblers, turning in an impressive run. She was backed up by solid finishes from Daphne O’Ree and Megan Shirley, both contributing to a competitive showing in a stacked field.
The Ramblers will look to build on this momentum next week when they host the Rambler Invitational Cross-Country Meet on Thursday.
