The LaFayette Lady Ramblers opened their season in commanding fashion Tuesday night, rolling past Woodland behind a balanced and energetic offensive performance.
Sophomore Ava Kelley led the charge with a standout night, pouring in 27 points while knocking down four shots from beyond the arc. Fellow sophomore Erin Grant added to the perimeter attack, finishing with 17 points and three three-pointers.
Senior forward Tamra Yancy controlled the paint on both ends of the floor, tallying a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds.
Sophomore point guard Elliott Rogers directed the offense with poise, contributing 6 points, 8 assists, and 5 steals. Freshman Brilee Wilson added a spark off the bench, hitting two three-pointers for 6 points. Macee Casteel, Gabi Stinson, and Caylie Harrell also added scoring in the team effort.
