LaFayette, GA – A rising star at LaFayette High School is earning recognition well beyond the local basketball court. Freshman Erin Grant has been named a “Top 7” award recipient by Georgia Positive Athlete, standing out among more than 6,400 nominations statewide.
The honor highlights not only Grant’s talent as a player but also her outstanding character and commitment to her sport. Known for her tireless work ethic, team-first attitude, and dedication to constant improvement, Grant has become a cornerstone of the Lady Ramblers program—despite being only in her first year.
The award presentation was fittingly made during a basketball workout, reflecting her deep commitment to the game and her team.
A school representative posted on social media, “Erin is a very talented player, but beyond that, she’s always dependable, a great teammate, and 100% bought in. We are very proud of Erin on and off the court.”
