Despite frigid weather conditions, the LaFayette High School girls soccer team turned in a dominant performance Monday, defeating Christian Heritage School by a final score of 5-0.
Cora Lanier led the Lady Ramblers offensively with two goals and one assist. Emma Brown also scored twice, while Naomi Thompson added another goal to round out the scoring.
Della Harris contributed with an assist in the victory.
In goal, LaFayette received solid defensive efforts from both keepers. Paisley Johnson recorded two saves, and Jana Fagan added two saves to help preserve the shutout.
