Cross Country Finds Its Stride at Camp Jordan

This past Saturday, the LaFayette High School cross-country team took to the trails at Camp Jordan in East Ridge, representing the Ramblers with grit and determination.

In the boys’ division, Elijah Decker, Peyton Lands, and Cayden Decker led the charge with strong performances against a competitive field. On the girls’ side, Addie Hudson and Lilly Owen paced the Lady Ramblers with standout finishes of their own.

Next up, the team will lace up again on Wednesday at Edwards Park in Dalton, continuing their push through the fall season.

Volleyball Dominates at Rocky Top Classic

The LHS volleyball team turned heads this weekend in Sevierville, Tennessee.

The Ramblers came out swinging, collecting wins over East Bullitt (VA), Lebanon (VA), and Greenbrier (TN) in their opening matches. After a close contest with Station Camp (TN), the team regrouped and roared back with a decisive victory over Mt. Juliet (TN). They closed out the day with a dominant performance against a tough Tallulah Falls squad.

While the Tennessee Vols may have been wide right in orange on Saturday, the Ramblers proved that orange pride still shines strong on Rocky Top.

Adding to the celebration, Head Coach Chris Logan recently secured his 400th win as LaFayette’s volleyball coach—a tremendous milestone for a program consistently built on excellence and teamwork.

The team now shifts its focus to Tuesday, when they’ll travel to Calhoun to face off against Gilmer in two critical region matchups.
