The LaFayette High School varsity softball team notched an impressive 6–3 victory over Gordon Lee last night behind a strong team effort both at the plate and in the circle.

Senior pitcher Marlie Day led the charge for the Lady Ramblers, going the distance with a complete-game performance. Over seven innings, Day scattered just five hits and kept the Gordon Lee offense in check with timely outs and consistent control.

Offensively, Jocelyn McCallie paced the lineup with two hits. Emma House contributed by going 1-for-3 and scoring twice. Sarah Brooke Kelehear also had a productive night, tallying a hit, an RBI, and crossing the plate once. Addi Hogue, Tamra Yancy, Bralie Blevins, and Emma Parker each added a hit to round out a balanced offensive effort.

In JV action, LaFayette battled to a 7–7 tie. Tinleigh Roberts had a standout performance, going 2-for-2 with 2 RBIs and a run scored. Roberts also made a game-saving diving catch in right-center field to prevent two runs. Rylen Stephenson chipped in with a perfect 1-for-1 outing, 2 RBIs, and a run. Abigail Rowlls and Emory Beck each recorded a hit in the back-and-forth contest.
