LaFayette Volleyball Dominates in Back-to-Back Region Wins

LaFayette High School Volleyball picked up a pair of commanding region victories on Thursday night, sweeping both Northwest Whitfield and Ridgeland in straight sets.

The Lady Ramblers opened the evening with a decisive 25-16, 25-13 win over NW Whitfield, followed by a dominant 25-15, 25-7 performance against Ridgeland. From the opening serve, LaFayette controlled the pace and never looked back.

Freshman standout Makenna Clarke led the charge, tallying 12 kills and 6 aces across both matches, showcasing her growing presence at the varsity level. Addy Cagle was a force at the net as well, finishing with 10 kills and 3 blocks. On defense, Kaylee Scoggins and Caydence Tinklepaugh anchored the back row with 9 digs apiece, helping to keep opposing offenses at bay.

The Junior Varsity squad also had a strong showing, going 2-0 on the night to complete the program sweep.
