The LaFayette High School volleyball team delivered a dominant performance Tuesday evening, notching two crucial region victories on the road. The Lady Ramblers swept both Northwest Whitfield and Heritage in straight sets, defeating the Bruins 25-23, 25-17 and cruising past the Generals 25-17, 25-10.
Gracie Rambo led the offensive attack with 14 kills, six aces, and nine digs, putting on a complete performance that helped LaFayette maintain momentum throughout both matches. Makenna Clarke matched Rambo with 14 kills of her own, adding four digs and three aces to the stat sheet.
Addy Cagle also had a strong showing, tallying 10 kills and three aces, while Kaylee Scoggins anchored the defense with a team-high 15 digs.
The victories bolster LaFayette’s standing in region play as the team looks to build on its strong early-season form.
In junior varsity action, the Lady Ramblers split their matches, sweeping Northwest 2-0 before falling to Heritage in a close 2-1 decision.
