From the City of LaFayette:
Lee School Road Boil Water Advisory

Update: 7:40 AM, Tuesday, January 21st
The Boil Water Advisory for City of LaFayette Utility customers served by the Lee School Road Water Treatment Plant remains in place. While we saw a brief settling of the source water over the weekend, turbidity levels rose again yesterday past the point where the Treatment Plant could operate with its current system setup.
Unfortunately, the installation of the DAF system has been delayed due to the arctic cold front currently affecting our area. Our highly experienced contractors have advised us that the best course of action to ensure a quality, long-term installation is to wait until daytime average temperatures rise above 30 degrees. Current weather forecasts indicate this may occur by Thursday, at which point installation can proceed without compromising the system’s effectiveness.
We share in the frustration and disappointment caused by this delay, as our team has been working tirelessly to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We truly appreciate the patience and understanding our community has shown so far, and we kindly ask for your continued support as we work to resolve this matter. We understand how challenging this situation is, but please know that we cannot compromise the long-term safety and reliability of the installation.
