Chattooga County deputies responded to a domestic dispute that ended in a shooting last night.
According to Sheriff Mark A. Schrader, deputies were dispatched around 9:30 p.m. to a residence on Highway 337 north of Chelsea. Upon arrival, they found that a male had been shot during the incident. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Sheriff Schrader stated that the shooter remained on the scene and has been cooperative with deputies and investigators. No further details have been released at this time.
