Marsh House Christmas Candlelight Tours offered
The Marsh House Museum, 308 N. Main St., La Fayette, GA 30728 will offer Candlelight tours on the second two weekends of December, Saturdays, Sundays, 14, 15 ,21, 22, 6-8:00 pm. Reservations will be by a message on the Marsh House FaceBook page with prepayment of $10 through the Donate button on the website. The House will be decorated in the style of the 1880s, and Christmas customs of the time will be discussed during the regular historical tour, ended with serving of traditional hot cider, gingerbread, and roasted chestnuts.
