The Marsh House Museum will come alive with history, tradition, and community spirit on Saturday, September 20, 2025, as it hosts its annual Marsh House Heritage Day. The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the historic site, located at 308 N. Main Street in La Fayette.
Celebrating the region’s rich past, Heritage Day will offer guided tours of the Marsh House, giving visitors a glimpse into 19th-century life and architecture. The event will also highlight local culture through a showcase of authentic arts and crafts, a Heritage Bake Sale featuring traditional homemade treats, and a vintage sale inside the museum’s gift shop.
Local and regional crafters and artists are encouraged to participate. Booth spaces are free, but registration is required. Interested vendors can reserve a space by contacting [email protected]
or calling 706-764-2801.
Organizers invite the public to enjoy a day of learning, shopping, and celebrating the traditions that have shaped the La Fayette community.
