A new exhibit opens Saturday at the Walker County African American Museum in LaFayette. The exhibit tells the story of Walker County’s once-segregated African American schools and the period of racial integration from 1965 to 1975. The museum will be open between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. There will be a ribbon-cutting with remarks from District 3 Commissioner Brian Hart at 1:00 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $1 for school children.
