Voters assigned to the LaFayette Precinct will see a change in their polling location beginning with upcoming elections, according to a public notice from Walker County officials.
The polling location has been moved from the LaFayette Senior Center, located at 636 S. Main Street, to the Walker County Elections Office at 311 S. Main Street in LaFayette. All voters assigned to the LaFayette Precinct will cast their ballots at the new location for all future elections unless otherwise notified.
The next election for the precinct will be the Special Election on March 10. On Election Day, voting hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Early voting for the special election will begin on February 16 and will be held at the Walker County Elections Office. Early voting hours will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
