UPDATE: As of 12pm ET, all power had been restored.
Power outages were reported in parts of Walker County this morning, leaving 219 homes without electricity.
According to utility officials, 218 of the affected customers are served by North Georgia EMC, while one customer is experiencing an outage through Georgia Power.
Crews from both utilities are actively working to identify the cause of the outages and restore service as quickly as possible. No estimated restoration time has been released.
Residents experiencing outages are encouraged to report them directly to their electric provider and to use caution around any downed power lines.
