LaFayette, GA – March 19, 2025 –Walker County Certifies Results of Public Service Commissioner Special Primary Election. 404 ballots were cast in Walker County in yesterday’s election. The local results are below. Walker County voters agreed with the rest of the state in the election outcomes. In the District 2 Republican Primary incumbent Tim Echols defeated Lee Muns with more than 76% of the vote. Echols will now face Democrat Alicia M. Johnson in November’s General Election. Johnson ran unopposed on the Democratic ticket. In District 3, Republican Fritz Johnson was unopposed while Keisha Sean Waites won the Democratic nod with more than 46% of the vote statewide.
