The LaFayette Ramblers volleyball team put on a strong showing Thursday night splitting a pair of matches. The Ramblers cruised past Dade County in straight sets, 2-0, before falling just short in a tightly contested three-set battle with Ringgold.
Senior standout Addy Cagle paced the Ramblers with an impressive all-around performance, racking up 20 kills, 3 aces, and a block on the night. Gracie Rambo added 17 kills, while Macee Casteel contributed 9 kills and 4 blocks at the net.
After Thursday’s split, LaFayette now turns its attention to a major test on the road. The Ramblers will travel to Oconee County for a high-level weekend tournament featuring four of Georgia’s top programs — Oconee, White County, Sandy Creek, and Jefferson.
