The LaFayette High School cross-country team made a strong showing Tuesday during a competitive meet in Dalton, with both the boys’ and girls’ teams turning in solid performances.
The Ramblers’ boys team placed 7th overall out of 20 teams. Leading the charge was Elijah Decker, who claimed an impressive 5th-place individual finish. Teammates Peyton Lands and Levi Collins also contributed with strong runs, helping to secure the top-10 team finish.
On the girls’ side, Addie Hudson, Lilly Owen, and Daphne O’Ree delivered standout performances for the Lady Ramblers, continuing their consistent pace this season.
The team will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Camp Jordan in East Ridge.
