Walker County Chairwoman Angie Teems is continuing her five-part town hall series tonight, offering residents another opportunity to engage directly with county leadership. The series, themed “Common Sense Is Our Common Ground,” is designed to promote open dialogue and community involvement.
Each meeting in the series begins at 6:00 p.m., with tonight’s gathering taking place at the Walker County Civic Center, located at 10052 Highway 27 in Rock Spring.
Unlike traditional town halls with set agendas, Teems is using these meetings as open forums, inviting community members to share their concerns, ideas, and priorities.
“I want to provide an open forum to hear from the community about the issues important to them and how the county can be part of enhancing their quality of life,” Teems said.
The meetings are being held at various locations across the county and will continue in the coming weeks. The schedule for future meetings is expected to be announced soon.
