Residents of Walker County will have an opportunity to meet Democratic congressional candidate Shawn Harris at an upcoming town hall on Thursday, September 25, at the Walker County Civic Center in Rock Spring.
Hosted by the Walker County Democratic Committee, the event is part of Harris’s ongoing town hall tour across the district as he campaigns to unseat incumbent Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the program set to begin at 6:00 p.m. The evening will include remarks from Harris outlining his plans for his first term in Congress, followed by an open Q&A session with attendees.
Organizers are encouraging voters of all political affiliations to attend and hear directly from the candidate. In a statement promoting the event, Harris’s campaign emphasized a respectful and inclusive atmosphere, noting that “everyone will be treated with respect, and no one will be dragged out by police for asking a tough question.”
The event will be held at the Walker County Civic Center, located at 10052 US-27 in Rock Spring.
