The LaFayette High School girls soccer team delivered a dominant performance, shutting out Chattooga County 10–0 in a one-sided victory.
Cora Lanier led the offensive surge with a hat trick, scoring three goals. Maggie Thompson and Lindsey Vineyard each added two goals, while Emma Brown, Hailey Hickman, and Cadha Lanier scored one goal apiece.
Brown and Cadha Lanier also contributed two assists each. Naomi Thompson, Hickman, and Lilly Walker recorded one assist each to help fuel the Ramblers’ high-powered attack.
Defensively, LaFayette kept Chattooga off the scoreboard, with Paisley Johnson recording one save to preserve the shutout.
The LaFayette High School boys soccer team earned a strong win Tuesday night, defeating Chattooga High School 6–2.
Harrison Gilstrap led the Ramblers with two goals, while Andrew Martin, Vlad Plott, Levi Collins, and Elijah Decker each added one goal to round out the scoring effort.
The Ramblers will return to action Thursday when they host Darlington.
