Authorities in Walker County say a historic sign stolen from Mountain Cove Farms has been recovered, more than a year after it disappeared.
According to Sheriff Steve Wilson, detectives acting on an anonymous tip located the iconic Mountain Cove Farms sign on March 23, 2026, inside the crawl space of a rental home in Chickamauga.
The sign, which was taken from the entrance of Mountain Cove Farms in October 2024, had been disassembled into several pieces. Officials estimate its value at more than $2,500.
The investigation remains active, and no arrests have been made.
