Following the results of a speed study on a section of Highway 193, the Georgia Department of Transportation has asked Walker County for approval to lower the speed limit from 55 mph to 50 mph from mile marker 12 to mile marker 13.61 in the High Point community.
The Board of Commissioners will consider this request at its meeting on December 19th.
