The Walker County Sheriff’s Office and the GBI have made 3 arrests in the death of Dakota Bottomlee in Chickamauga. On November 1st, Bottomlee was found shot to death on the carport of a Chickamauga home. Authorites have arrested 21-year-old Kayla Michelle McClure of Ringgold, 21-year-old James Logan Darty of Rossville and 18-year-old Marcus Allen Chambers in connection with the murder. A 4th suspect, 23 year old Brayden Whatley of Rossville remains at large. The Walker County Sheriffs office worked in conjunction with the GBI and the Sheriff’s department in both Catoosa and Hamilton Counties to make the arrests.
