Walker County residents should prepare for traffic delays today, Sunday, May 18th, as the Ironman race returns to the area. From 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., portions of local roads along the race route will experience slowdowns and temporary closures. Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Please use caution and be mindful of athletes and event personnel along the course.
