RINGGOLD — Ronnie Massey, an assistant principal at Lafayette High School, was arrested on multiple counts of computer pornography after investigators found child exploitation material on the messaging app Kik Messenger.
The Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on June 2nd at Massey’s home in Ringgold following a cyber tip that child sexual abuse material was being downloaded from a specific IP address.
Investigators traced the activity to Massey’s device and discovered images and videos of child pornography on two Kik Messenger accounts. According to the arrest report, Massey admitted to receiving 12 videos through the app.
Massey faces ten counts of computer pornography and remains in custody as the investigation continues.
