Authorities say the victim of a shooting reported Sunday night at Holiday Travel Park in Catoosa County is alive as investigators continue working to determine what led to the incident.
Catoosa County Sheriff Gary Sisk confirmed the incident involved a shooting and said the victim survived. According to the sheriff, the suspected shooter and the victim are related. The suspect is currently being questioned by investigators.
Deputies responded to Holiday Travel Park after reports of a gunshot in the area. When law enforcement arrived, a trailer at the location had been surrounded with crime scene tape as investigators began processing the scene.
Neighbors in the area told reporters they heard a gunshot shortly before police arrived.
Authorities have not released additional details about the victim’s condition or whether any charges have been filed.
