Walker County 4-H Expands Summer Fun with Two-Day Camp for Ages 7-11

ROCK SPRING, GA — Walker County 4-H is bringing more summer excitement for local youth with the expansion of its popular day camp, open to children ages 7 to 11. The two-day camp will be held Thursday and Friday, June 12–13, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Walker County Ag Center in Rock Spring.

With a full schedule of indoor and outdoor games, crafts, and hands-on activities, the camp promises fun and learning in a safe, supervised setting. Space is limited and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The cost to attend is $60 per camper, with a special $10 discount available to those who donate a box of cake mix and a can of icing for a local 4-H service project. Donations and payment must be submitted in person at the Walker County Extension/4-H Office.

Campers should bring a sack lunch and a refillable water bottle each day. All fees are due at registration, are non-refundable, and must be paid via cash or check made out to Walker County 4-H.

Registration forms are available by calling (706) 638-2548, emailing [email protected], or by visiting the 4-H office at 102 E. Napier St. in LaFayette. The final deadline to register and pay is June 5, 2025.
