If you’ve been thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, now is the perfect time. This Friday, August 8, and Saturday, August 9, all adoption fees at the Walker County Animal Shelter will be completely waived.
As part of The Rescue Effect, a new national campaign launched by the ASPCA this August and running through October, the Walker County Animal Shelter is working to boost adoptions and engage the local community. The shelter has partnered with the ASPCA to help more animals find loving homes—and to save more lives in the process.
Located at 5488 N. Marble Top Road in Chickamauga, the Walker County Animal Shelter invites individuals and families to come meet their next best friend—and take them home for free during this special two-day event.
