The Walker County Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Alison Missler as its new Tourism Manager, bringing fresh energy and experience to the county’s tourism efforts.

Missler steps into the role with a strong background in hospitality and event coordination, most recently serving as Operations Manager at Teton Valley Resort. In that position, she led large-scale events, built partnerships with local businesses, and helped enhance visitor experiences—skills that translate directly into her new role in Walker County.

Chamber President and CEO Lacey Smith said Missler’s leadership and creativity make her a great fit to help grow tourism in the area.

Missler says she’s excited to get started and highlight everything Walker County has to offer. From scenic outdoor destinations to local events and attractions, she plans to work closely with community partners to expand tourism opportunities and increase visibility for the region.

In her new position, Missler will help lead the county’s tourism efforts through the Walker Rocks initiative, focusing on promoting the area as a top destination while supporting local businesses and driving economic impact.
