Walker County Fire Rescue is proud to announce that Lieutenant Jason Cruise has successfully earned the Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) designation from the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), one of the most respected credentials in the field of fire investigation.
The CFI certification is awarded to individuals who demonstrate exceptional knowledge, skill, and dedication to the science and practice of fire investigation. Achieving this status involves meeting stringent qualifications, including a combination of formal education, hands-on investigative experience, and advanced training.
As part of the certification process, Lt. Cruise underwent a comprehensive peer and background review, completed a complex case study or practical exercise, and passed an extensive written examination.
