A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Walker County. Current most-likely snow totals are up to 0.5″ in far north Georgia with a potential for amounts of 1 inch in higher elevations. Please make note of the following schedule changes due to the threat of inclement weather on Wednesday, February 19th:
*Walker County Government offices, including the landfill, will delay opening until 11:00 a.m.
*Walker County Juvenile Court is cancelled. Call 706-638-3044 to receive a new court date.
*Walker Transit will delay operations until noon.
