A Walker County jury has found Marshall Payne guilty of Malice Murder and Felony Murder in the 2016 killing of DJ Fickey. The verdict was returned Thursday of last week, with jurors deliberating just 45 minutes before reaching their decision.
Later today, the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office will hold a press conference to discuss the case and provide additional details following the conviction.
