Walker County Schools on Two-Hour Delay Monday
WALKER COUNTY, GA — Walker County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, March 16, 2026, due to the timing of expected severe weather and strong wind gusts forecast early Monday morning.
School officials say the delay is being implemented out of caution as storms and high winds move through the region overnight and into the early morning hours.
Students and staff should report two hours later than their normal start time.
