Residents in parts of Trion will experience a temporary water outage Friday morning as crews work to repair a water line.
According to Town of Trion Maintenance Superintendent Brandon Croy, water service will be shut off beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 20.
The outage will affect customers located from the Chattooga River southward to Moore Street.
Officials said water service will remain off until repairs are completed. No estimated time was provided for when water will be restored.
Residents in the affected area are encouraged to plan accordingly and make necessary preparations until service resumes.
