The Walker County Board of Commissioners meeting is set for tomorrow night. The meeting happens at 6:30pm at Courthouse Annex III on South Main Street. You can watch it on the county’s Facebook page. On the agenda for the meeting is a public hearing about the General Fund Budget.
Three felony arrest in Walker County on Wednesday. 24-year-old Ethan Tyler Bourff faces charges of 1st degree burglary. 37-year-old Kerry Lamont Carson was booked on home invasion, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm charges.
The Walker County Water and Sewage Authority continues the work on the sewar redirection plan. Starting next week, Monday September 16th, Myers Street will be closed to thru traffic. The closure will last 9-13 weeks. Please plan accordingly.
The LaFayette Ramblers return to the field Friday night. The Ramblers are at home to face Trion. It’s Rec League night at Jack King Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm.
