The American Legion Auxiliary Chickamauga Unit 217 and The Walker County Historic Preservation Commission have partnered together to raise $5300 to purchase 530 wreaths for the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park, with assistance from Becky Fox, Wreaths for All Veterans and Wreaths across Chattanooga. The veterans’ graves have been marked and we will lay wreaths Saturday, December 14 starting at 8 a.m. and continue till we finish. Volunteers are welcome to come and help with this event to honor our fallen men and women. Just come to the Cemetery on Hogan Rd, Rossville and join in.
