Aaron Fredrick Pitts, 44, of Chickamauga, Georgia, passed away leaving behind a legacy of hard work, devotion to family, and a passion for life’s simple joys.

Aaron was known for his intelligence, mechanical skill, and ability to fix almost anything. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, and made sure to pass that love on to his sons. Whether riding motorcycles, ATVs, or anything with a motor, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, playing video games, or caring for his beloved pit bulls, Aaron embraced life with energy and heart.

Born in 1980 to Fred and Judy Pitts, Aaron was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga. He attended Osburn Elementary, Rossville Middle, and Ridgeland High School before earning a degree in Microcomputer Technology from Georgia Northwestern Technical Institute. Later, he returned to obtain his Commercial Driver’s License. For the past twenty years, he worked in the distribution industry in the Chattanooga area and was working toward his dream of purchasing his own truck to operate as an independent contractor.

As a young man, Aaron loved baseball, playing on the Fort Oglethorpe team that earned multiple All-Star Dizzy Dean State Championships in consecutive years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Pitts, and his brother, Daniel Pitts.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Dalton Pitts and Emmet Pitts; his mother, Judy Pitts; his sister, Tiffany Pitts; his niece, Winter Pitts; as well as aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2025, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Joshua Swanson officiating. Interment will follow at Allen Cemetery in Sevierville, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, and a couple hours before the service on Monday in the parlor of the funeral home.
