In addition to being an educator, Allen was a talented musician and played the French Horn in his church orchestra as well as the Chattanooga Community Orchestra. He was a gifted storyteller with a wonderful sense of humor and a passion for nature and history. Allen was a modern day Renaissance man, is deeply loved, and will be greatly missed.
