Allen S. Harmon, age 89, of LaFayette passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sanford (Sant) and Rainy Harmon; great-great granddaughter, Selah Grace Hamilton; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Tommy Silvers; and brother-in-law, James Crider.
Allen is survived by his loving wife, Betty Harmon; daughters, Ann (Dale) Thompson and Deborah (Doney) Brown; grandchildren, Travis (Kim) Thompson, Greg (Bridget) Davis, Amanda Myers, Barrett (Elizabeth) Thompson, Chris (Jennifer) Davis, and Malcolm Holliday; a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Doyle (Glenda) Crider; and special caregivers, Fredia Turner and Beth Glover.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, May 16, at Concord Methodist Church with Pastor Clifford Chambers officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 5 p.m. to the hour of service.
Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Dylan Davis, Dakota Davis, Allen Thompson, Colby Thompson, C.J. Davis, and Kobey Brown
Honorary pallbearers are Travis Thompson, Greg Davis, Barrett Thompson, Chris Davis, and Malcolm Holliday.
