Amber Leah Blevins, 45, of Lafayette, Georgia, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024. She was born in East Ridge, Tennessee to Troyce Delaine Slay and Jeffrey Glen Everett. She was a lifelong resident of Lafayette, Georgia and was of the Baptist faith. Amber loved her family. She always supported her children in everything they have accomplished. She was always there to support them in their sports and other programs. She always loved to find a good deal and go thrift shopping. Amber was truly the backbone of the family. She was known to all those around her as always willing to help. She spent her life helping people. Her family will dearly miss her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 27 years Corey Blevins, parents, Troyce (Tony) Slay, and Jeff (Jan) Everett; children, Haley (Tiffany) Blevins stationed in Aurora, Colorado, and Ethan (Madison) Blevins of Lafayette, Georgia; sister, Tara (Jim) McElroy of Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren, Koleson Grey Blevins, Berkley Cade Blevins and one on the way.
A private time for the family to gather to celebrate Amber’s life will be held at a later date.
