Anita Louise Turner, 74 of Fort Oglethorpe, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2024. Throughout her life, she lived in many states across the country but has resided in Tennessee and the North Georgia area most of her life. Anita was of the Christian faith and enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She worked at Olan Mills for many years and loved spending time with her family and friends. Anita will be remembered for her playful soul.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Sue White; brother, Robert White; grandmother, Elizabeth White; sister-in-law and best friend, Gail Ford.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Usry; children, Bonnie Westbrooks, Dwight Niswonger; sister, Lynda Casteel; grandchildren, Michael, John Paul, Joseph, Josh, Jerry; great grandchildren, Korra, Takoda, Justin, Shepard.
