Barbara J. Crowe Barber age 87, of Ringgold, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the time of grace, 5:55. A lifelong resident of Ringgold, Barbara was an active member of Boynton Church of God. She enjoyed serving as a door greater and was a part of the Women Of Worship. Barbara enjoyed thrift store shopping and retired from Gingerbread House Child Care Center. Above all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and spending time supporting her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren throughout life and at sporting events.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Sonny” Barber; daughter, Susan Barber, her parents, William Crowe and Nellie V. Garrett, as well as her sisters, Delores Lee and Debbie Garret.
She is survived by her children, Pam (Lamar) Shrader, Randy (Kim) Barber, Steve (Teresa) Barber, Kenneth (Tina) Barber; her sister, Jimmie Gail Hill; grandchildren, Crystal (Vance) Newell, Travis (Holly) Shrader, Megan (Paul) Carter, Ashlee (Candy) Howard, Blake (Kelly) Barber, Amy Grant, Stephanie Barber, Kristin Barber, Karman (Greg) Wallace, Jessica Barber, Savannah Barber, Aiden Barber and Hunter Barber as well as her great grandchildren, Avery, Ella, Morgan, Mason, Charlee, Duncan, Landon, Sierra, Andrew, Issac, Jacob, Jax, Aaron, Chloe, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Wallis – Stewart Chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes with Pastor Jerry Lewis officiating.
