Barbara Neal Jones, age 94, of LaFayette passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
Barbara was a devoted Braves fan and an avid gardener. She was a member of Chattooga Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Jones Sr.; daughter, Cyndi Jones Anderson; great-great-grandson, Brantley Neal Chandler; parents, Horas and Mabel Neal; and son-in-law, John Chandler.
Barbara is survived by her children, H.L. Chris Jones, Merry Jones Chandler, and Kip (Debbie) Jones; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 28, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Dr. William Swanson officiating.
Interment will take place in LaFayette City Cemetery.
A visitation will take place on Monday from 12:00 pm to the hour of service at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
