Beverly Land, age 62, resident of Arcadia, Louisiana, and former resident of Trenton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Minden Medical Center, Minden, Louisiana.
Mrs. Land, daughter of Carolyn Ann Chapman Lambert and the late Roy Lee Lambert, was born October 1, 1962, in Houston, Texas. She was a Baptist by faith and traveled the road with her husband, who was a truck driver. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and seeing the various sites. Mrs. Land also enjoyed fishing, and while at home, she loved gardening. Many times, family and friends would see her reading her Bible or sitting on her back porch. Most of all, she looked forward to spending quality time with her family. The family remembers her as a God-fearing, independent woman who loved her kids and grandkids immensely.
Besides her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Land, Jr.
Mrs. Land is survived by her son, Gary (Johnna) Land; daughter, Christina (Marty) Hamlett; mother, Carolyn Ann Chapman Laird; brother, Jerry (Daun) Lambert; sister, Sherri Collins; five grandchildren, Ashlyn, Kaitlyn, Jaxon, Sydney, and Anna; many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Matthew Logan officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 1-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home J. Avery Bryan Chapel, 215 Lee Avenue, Chickamauga, Georgia
