Billy Hayes, also known as “Uncle Boo”, age 70, of LaFayette passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Rachel Hayes.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Mitchell; son, Tony Hayes; seven grandchildren; sisters, Martha (Harold) McKeehan, Ivie Trammel, Claudia Jordan, Wanda (Rick) Sumner, and Tina Evett; brothers, Harvey Hogue and Randy McNair; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 20, at the LaFayette City Cemetery with Rev. Tim Dennison officiating.
Pallbearers are David, James, Brandon, and Matthew Pittman, Harley Ballew, and Lee McKeehan.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday prior to the graveside service from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
